My wife and I are hosting our Annual Excellence in Aviation Scholarship Party to raise money for the Scholarships that are awarded each year at Middle Tennessee State University. The University awards four $1000 scholarships to deserving Aerospace students each year.

We have live music, boat rides, give aways and adults beverages of course. This year will feature food and Beverage from Cinqo De Mayo.

We also have silent auctions. Items include flight time in MTSU Aircraft with one of their Instructors, Airline Tickets and other donated items. Anyone want to bid on an hour of flight time in a DeHavilland Beaver or a Pristine Stearman, thought you might.

This years event is September 20th @ 6:30pm band starts at 7:00pm. We have have many students and alumni, who are out working in industry, that attend as well as others who are not related to Aerospace but enjoy good music and drink on the water.

If you cannot attend but would like to support our cause I can provide you information on how donate online.

I am posting here because every time I step on the crew bus there seems to be someone who lives in the BNA area that I have yet to meet.

This is a really good time, and I highly recommend it. Good cause too. Wish I could attend but I'll be on a trip.

We were not able to give as much notice this year with the new addition to our family but she is definitely worth it.

I'm glad you posted on here. I heard it was Sep. 20th but couldn't find any information. Last year I got something in the mail but not this year! I'll do my best to get the days off, had a blast last time.

I wish I had known about this earlier. I fly out of the BNA area and it sounds like it would have been a lot of fun, but I'll be out of the area.
