It's because of my increased hourly rate. I can afford to play "The Red Green Show". I coasted allot last summer by just dropping trips I didn't want to do and getting paid for transition conflicts and not working. And I still made more than I did the previous year and worked a whole lot less.

Yes, there you go again! Every time you touch the keyboard you further my point. You have absolutely nothing substantive to add to the conversation. When you take away all the personal attacks and baseless opinions, you've got nothing. Isn't it ironic, the guy who has done the most talking, been the most vocal, a self proclaimed genius, really knows absolutely nothing at all.

So go ahead, keep on posting. What's it gonna be this time chief? How will you try and deflect your lack of knowledge this go round. Maybe some hard hitting insults, or a few "I'm senior and I know all" comments, or the classic "socialist MEC" rant. I can't wait to read on...

I have no clue
You have no clue
ALPA has no clue
But it really is not that hard to get some good estimates.

Our average compensation per hour went up (except for some mid seniority years it did not). Our average staffing went from 13.0-13.5 to 14.5 pilots per plane. Up by 10-11%!

The company needs 10% more pilots, that on average are paid a higher hourly wage to do the same thing. They really did not hire more folks because the new guys from Virgin like us so much, that they think it is important that we can get a day off without a sick call. You know Monohan, who promised improved efficiency, did not get walked out of his office because he has achieved all his promises.

What 90h lines? Where? I had to go all the way back to November 2010 to find an average line value above 90 hours. We have been in the high 70s for the past 12 months except a few 85h months for DTW.

In my opinion now that you are an elected member again, you really should start looking at facts more and leave that alternative reality of these anonymous boards alone. Especially those boards that are known to mute people that are not singing along.

Captain, you have no point.

My point, however, is that only a few people know the true cost of this CBA, and they aren't talking. “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.” This is quite appropriate in the case of the cost of our CBA, and from what I gather, should be a sticker on your flight bag.

I fully expect that if the MEC put an excrement sandwich in front of you and told you it was a reuben, you would be posting on here how it was the best darn reuben you ever had, and you're darn glad this benevolent regime allowed you to partake.

You will never "get it". I'm done with this "your momma" flight. Its already cost me an hour of my life I will never get back. Enjoy your ignorant bliss.

Norm, Kubota..

Sorry guys, but the hypocracy is too much. You want me, the only known person here, to swear off of pilot forums, because you -the anonymous - don't like anonymous forums? Think about it.

The point, captain fantastic, is that you do not deal in reality. You do not deal with facts. You have created this conspiracy theory in your warped little mind. The problem for you, when you are asked to defend your position with facts, you come up empty handed. Don't get frustrated big guy, I didn't expect you to have any.

Look around chief, no one is standing up to defend your position. Doesn't that tell you something? Or, does it not matter what we all think, because we have not been at Spirit longer than you? Funny though, your not number one on the list. I talk to pilots way more senior than you, and they are happy. Hmmm, how could that be???? Maybe they should say to you "in a few years you will get it", or does it not work that way, chief?

As a new hire I was told there is a guy that works for us whose sole job is to get us Venezuela routes... 5 years later we are looking into it...
