I did MKE-PHL for about a month, not a big deal. Midwest had 3 or 4 flights a day and US had about 2. Then of course is the hour drive to ACY. The other option would be ORD-MYR-ACY on Spirit or ORD-ATL-ACY on Airtran. You will still need a car in ACY, the airport is in the middle of no where.

you will need a car in Fort Lauderdale too with a few exceptions. I have been doing ORD-FLL for almost 2 years and it has gotten more difficult since United left, but it is still good as 3 hour commutes go. we now have 3 direct flights a day on Spirit, and AA still has 2 direct flights a day. there is also Southwest out of Midway with 4 directs a day, and in a pinch there always options going through Atlanta, and going to Miami and Tri-Railing it to FLL

Are there any updates on contract talks? I hope the union goes in with Jet Blues new pay scale and Frontiers old one to show where we should be. Maybe it will prove to the mediation board that management needs to get moving on this and be fair.

We live in the Tampa area. The commute is definitely good from here or Orlando. No complains about that but we simply miss the good Midwest. We want to get back to some quality of life. I'll take the misery commute for a happy family.

O by the way, a good friend (sorry for stealing your thunder mate ) of mine was telling me it shows on Orbitz starting in March some A320 for some specific routes.

Bubi, I have to say that's the first time I've heard cummute and happy family in the same sentence. If Orbitz says it....its gotta be true Pretty sad that we have to get our info from other companies rather than our own about whats going on.

Funny how things workout, during our recall class, 2 Mgnt reps didn't even know about these AC's, and when they were expected. Actually they said that booking was so low that they didn't know 2-3 months ahead...

Just go to "Low Fare Cheap Tickets Websites", I am sure they have better info than we do, I am willing to bet they even know more than we do on our OWN Contract Situation.

But I hope it all materializes next year. We ALL need a good year!!
