I have come to the same conclusion and you will be seeing a lot less of me here. Time to take a step back and not care anymore.

You heard it here first:
Armenia, Colombia (AXM) starts November 13th for Friday and Tuesday service. Flight 361 will operate at 10:35 am. Return flight is 362 at 3:00pm.

Two flights a week is a drop in the bucket, but international growth is better than a kick in the face. I hope it's profitable...we're definitely the only ones doing this.

They should announce this later today.

Jetblue's website shows that they're already flying MCO-BOG. Are you thinking FLL-BOG?

Yes they are already doing MCO-BOG, No they will not be doing FLL-BOG anytime soon, they do not have the rights to that route.

Scores of F/O's like me received this letter:

"Dear [Prior recent Furloughed Spirit Pilot]:

"This is to inform you of an overpayment of $$$$ for Senior/Longevity adjustment due to the furlough period 9/4/2008 to 11/18/2008. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

"Please be advised that due to this overpayment, a deduction will be made over the next five (5 or 7) pay periods, beginning on August 15th, 2009, each payment will be for the amount of $$$.

"If you have any questions regarding this overpayment, you may contact the Crew Payroll department via e-mail: crewpay@xxx.com, telephone: (877)xxx-xxxx ext. 8071 or by fax (800)xxx-xxxx.

"Thank you for your patience and assistance.

"Sincerely,

Crew Payroll Manager"

One more freaking grievance to be filed!

I'm on reserve... making about $1300 per paycheck and now for the next two and a half months they will deduct $340 dollars from every check, $680 per month....

That's a total salary of $1920 plus per-diem per month...

How the f&#! does Spirit expect F/O's that were recently recalled that drained all their reserves to pay bills and make a living?

From now on I'm doing extremely detailed pre-flights... maintenance will be onboard every single time.....
