I was referring to something besides size. Dal could buy all and divest what the need to for ati. Election is close. Votes needed. We discussed this a year ago.

It will. Trust me. Instruct there. Apply for Dal's internship for you summer after your first year. Also look at taking a semester off for one here. Less competitive.
Many may laugh at you working so hard but as you know seniority is everything. It saved me years and was able to upgrade at a regional at 25. Barring 9-11 I would have had a much different career. I've got a proline center console. 150 will move it plenty fast, but I am looking at the 4 strokes for the better economy.
I'll say, with what a new motor sells for, you can certainly upgrade boats significantly due to all the repo boats at auction. There is a BIG/HUGE disconnect between retail and wholesale.

Dal is going I. The correct direction. The moves being made will show that. We just need pilot compensation et al to move that way too.
Anyone got any concrete opinions on who's making the best 150 hp 4 stroke salt water outboards these days. My boat motor is not making me happy these days.

It will continue to be unheard of. It was possible once, but not anymore. Soon, you will not even be able to work at a regional until you are 23 with an ATP. I don't mean to be negative, but 21 is an unrealistic goal. 23 is the absolute youngest you will be able to get on and even that is near impossible.
