Corp pretax profit 10% up to 2.5B 20% over 2.5B split by the non management employees in proportion to your pay. Our pay is defined as the flight pay (hrs flown/credited,in training, vacation pay)... Pensionable meaning you get an additional 15% times the PS to defined contribution accounts and any excess over 415 limit to cash. Comes about Valentines's day unless DAL decides to pay early... Oct last year. Are you happy now? Welcome on board. 8.26% earned for 2013 and 16.54% for 2014. Never count on airline industry profits as guaranteed. Never. Again, congrats and glad to have you. OFG
Pairing the 330 with the 777 is a win, and should help us, but leaving the 321 in their group 2 is a big loss.
They also undercut us significantly with their lack of a min/average day and no profit sharing.
I don't see their agreement helping us a whole lot. Hope I'm wrong.

Hahaha! Complete agreement. Otherwise you have picked the wrong profession AND the wrong company.

Seems to me that if we monetize the PS, that would put our pay rates way above AA (and prob not as high as we would like them). Why not leave the PS as a BONUS and move our PAY rates up above AA as industry leading, just as they always have been? WS and the co don't want to see our pay rates so far above the industry avg. AA not getting PS and getting a large pay rate increase is the perfect scenario for us NOT to monetize our PS. All we need for ALPA to do is draw the line and say PS is a bonus and we need our pay rates industry leading.

Their 747/340 rate would be interesting if they actually had some or planned to get some.

Now getting the 321 up a category will be difficult, but not impossible.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. I'm certainly not trying to make waves. Happy as hell to be in the spot I'm in looking at a long and happy life with Delta. I'm just a bit of a data junkie, and as I make major life changes and decisions for my family and I, I'd like to have all the facts on the table.
what Delta -might- pay out for profit sharing?
Seriously?
BTW, it always will change, from year to year, because it's based on earnings and contract negotiations.
Our PAY RATES however, are pretty much fixed, so THAT is what you should be basing your life changes and decisions on.

With a screen name like yours, you've been just waiting to use that line haven't you.
Excellent! Might have to take that under advisement.
