3/15/15 is the date of the trip. Arriving around 9:30 am and departing 1 pm. Hopefully I won't gum up the works too much Flew a 172 to KATL back in '95 and the controllers did a very good job of sequencing us.

I haven't flown GA in a really long time. Is that really the going rate of 100LL or is it just expensive because you landed in ATL?

When I saw it my first thought was, "Who gives a sheet, no matter what color it is, I'm not wearing it!".
Amazing what passes for news these days. I think we need to see Martin Savage wearing it, in a 777 simulator, with the guy with the goatee trying to teach him how to do a rapid descent.

It seems like we never add any pilots to the widebodies. They said all 747's gone in less than three years. I guess our careers look pretty optimistic if you want to retire as a 737-900 or 321 captain.

Once we are past the summer, we will add to the 320 categories for the 321 deliveries in 2016. Network has told us the initial 321s will be focused in ATL.

Damn Hockey you are a negative Nancy! Clue, these are the best of times. Enjoy it while it lasts. Lot's of hiring, upgrades, pay raises etc. Don't get used to it as it won't last forever. You have not seen anything but raises since being hired. Never a pay cut or downgrades. You would have never survived the turmoil post 9/11(furloughs, pay cuts, pension loss, displacements, damn near ch7 etc without a heart attack) Lighten up and enjoy the moment!
The fees at ATL are actually pretty reasonable. I'd gas up elsewhere, tanker and pay the $40. At $9, 15 gallons is $135, which minus the $40 fee you'd save is $95, for an effective price of $6.33.
I've seen quite a few GA airplanes taxi through the airline ramps, so I'd be prepared for that if arriving from the South.
