Who stops taking cough medicine when trying to get better for a trip, 2 days prior???

This is kind of a big thing, surprised I didn't see anyone discussing it?

"The wait time from taking diphenhydramine, the active ingredient in many cold and allergy products including Benadryl, has changed from 12 hours to 60 hours. The wait time for taking dextromethorphan, the active ingredient in many cough medications, has increased to 48 hours.

Wait time is defined as the time from when you last take the medication until you engage in ANY activities pertaining to flight, such as flight planning or pre-flight inspection. "
I read it and the first thing I thought of was "is this some kind of union way of saying call in sick?" Kind of like the old contract negotiation "be safe" or "BOB" campaigns /key words. Maybe that was just me who read it that way.

You will be exposed in due time for who you really are which is no friend of pilots OR labor in general.

Cyber stalked. Funny stuff.
Carl is no friend to this pilot group?

The founders of the AirLine Pilots Association are all spinning in their graves with disgust and disappointment.

Delta is making billions in record profits and returning billions to the shareholders for no other reason than to enrich our execs more than they already are.

We have many DALPA leaders working 24/7 to deliver us for less and take draconian concessions.

Carl speaks for our profession and the vast majority of the Delta pilots.

You and your Whiskey Delta friends are the "I got mine club."

That was eye opening. I wonder how many ASAPs I need to fill out now years past when it happened. If the company doesn't like sick calls now, imagine if we actually followed the FAA's protocol!

Yikes.

Yeah, I caught the same thing. Want me to certify via a third party Chinese vendor in an adjacent state for my first sick call this year? No prob. I looked at a bottle of sudafed last Tuesday. Case closed.

I can't wait until they try to fix that "problem."

3. Add a little more pay and credit to vacation and we will be content.
4. Touch the already concessionary sick leave one more time and we will vote no.
5. Another 1-2% into DPSP would be nice.
6. We didn't create the training problem, in fact we tried to prevent it. Don't ask us to fix it without LOTS of $$$$.

7. Based on the rumors, we will vote "NO" to the TA, keep what we have and update pay rates to to AA/UAL every 18 mos.
Well, no.

The MEC knows thats what the APCF crowd wants. But they're a tiny small minute fraction of a fraction of the pilot group.

What they really know is the obvious, a vast vast majority of the pilots want is an increase in the Section 3 pay charts and the rest of the contract is up for debate.

Don't think we have the option not to follow it.
