The letter about how we were the best paid and how we weren't going to get a better deal from RA was pretty hard to swallow.

The company is making record profits, the other stakeholders have and are profiting and Delta pilot performance is outstanding and essential.

Why should it be a surprise that we aren't doing back flips for a contact that just now finally gets us back to 2000 rates.

Unity.

Hat's off to those DALPA reps who against overwhelming peer pressure stuck to their guns and represented the will of the pilots they represent.

Here is the list of the "representatives" that are out of touch with the majority of the pilots they represent:

Council 1 (MSP)
Captain Bruce Endler, Secretary-Treasurer

Council 16 (LAX)
Captain Tim Heck, Chairman
Captain Dan Riesgo, Vice Chairman
F/O Tony Prato, Secretary-Treasurer

Council 44 (ATL)
Captain Hermon Cook, Chairman
Captain Dave Hamilton, Vice Chairman
Captain Armando Gomez, Secretary-Treasurer
F/O David Nestor

Council 48 (Instructor Council)
F/O Sam Mason, Chairman
F/O Busch Voigts, Vice Chairman
F/O Keith Costo, Secretary-Treasurer

Council 54 (SEA)
Captain Chris Gaddis, Vice Chairman

Council 66 (NYC)
F/O Dave Marino, Secretary-Treasurer

Council 81 (SLC)
Captain Randy Worrall, Chairman
Captain Andy Manilla, Vice Chairman
Captain Mark Saltzman, Secretary-Treasurer

Council 108 (CVG)
Captain Buzz Hazzard, Chairman
F/O John Wolf, Secretary-Treasurer

It seems the councils where the vote in favor was unanimous are in need of some replacement reps to more accurately reflect the will of the pilots.

Perhaps we need to begin at the top...

BTW: I'm proud of us as a group. 97% participation is epic, regardless of outcome.

Cheers
George

And how did Wallstreet react?

Wallstreet didn't care about this at all...
They are waiting for the 14th.
