GoJet Airlines Announces Additional Flying and New Partnership With Delta Air Lines

12 Bombardier CRJ-700s added to GoJet’s fleet as Delta Connection

GoJet Airlines LLC announced today a new partnership with Delta Air Lines that includes adding 12 Bombardier CRJ-700 aircraft to the GoJet fleet. The dual-class aircraft will fly
as part of the Delta Connection program.

Under the terms of the agreement, GoJet will begin service with the 12 Delta-owned CRJ-700 aircraft in the first quarter of 2012. The total number of GoJet aircraft in service will rise to 37, almost a 50-precent increase in the airlines’ current fleet. GoJet currently operates 25 aircraft as part of the United Airlines Express regional service.

“We are pleased to add GoJet to the Delta Connection family of airlines, we believe GoJet to be a high quality airline and will be a great addition to the Delta network” remarked Don Bornhorst, President of Delta Connection.

“Today’s announcement is exciting news for GoJet Airlines as it not only expands our fleet, but it also marks our second partnership with a major airline. We are committed to this new code-sharing agreement with Delta, one of the largest airlines in the world,” said Rick Leach, President and CEO of GoJet Airlines and President of Trans States Holdings. “Since its launch six years ago, GoJet has strived to be a leader in the regional airline industry by providing our customers with safe, reliable and efficient service on every flight. In our role as a United Express carrier we are continually recognized for providing an excellent product with some of the most professional flight crews in the skies. Now, through this growth we have the opportunity to partner with Delta Air Lines and bring that same great service into this new relationship. We are also proud to grow our fleet of Bombardier aircraft, which have proven to be excellent performers in the marketplace.”

That should dispell any semblance of "constructive engagement" anyone could have ever had. For our "leadership" to go and hire one of the most cut throat dirt bag predatory bargaining union busting airlines in modern history just for a quick departmental management VP cost bonus fix is deplorable and indicative of extremely hostile section 6 intentions.

Forget scope grandfathering. Scope recapture 51 seats and up, period. That by the way is a generous compromise. SWA scope is mere LCC parity so continued 50 and under scope relief is extremely gracious and generous. They pay whatever penalties they negotiated to pay, but most of which are merely us taking over the leases, which we are paying for 100% anyway. Any additional penalties are chicken scratch compared to that anyway. No grace period, no phaseout. Scope relief is a 4 to 5 year loan not a permanant ACMI bidfest. Meet and confer with the MEC's now and get it over with.

Not to mention this type of short sighted no talent middle management garbage is trashing our airline from the top down, bottom up and inside out. SWA hate aside, I hope they dominate us in the eyes of the consumer on any and every outsourced route.

Yes, it's part of the "password synchronization" plan. Once you change it, that will be your password for everything (except PBS, I have found). DeltaNet, ICrew, Delta e-mail (good for Delta rec's for friends), etc....

Default Password Synch

This was the same way at Northwest. Now if we could just have a single logon so it was easier to get into I-Crew... Hmmmm

Sounds good, cept that if that changes the password for iCrew, does that also change it for the dial-in phone system? I've always had an all numeric password so my phone can speed dial it. Will that screw that up?

I recently changed one password for the email system. Unbeknowns to me it changed all my passwords. Very frustrating. The only good thing is that you can set up a 4 digit pin to get into the dial in phone system. That was not changed when I update my phone number and I can still get into the dial in system with my pin number. Easier to remember 4 numbers as well instead of the long 7 and quicker on the speed dial.
