THe pilot group accepted the terms of the contract. We are the one's that are responsible for our pay and work-rules.
Btw, I dislike the hat for many reasons. But I am employed with Delta and the hat is mandatory at Delta, so I oblige.

I know you are new here, but newsflash: We all like each other, so relax a little.
If we ever meet, I'm gonna buy you a decent beer.
Just send him an ACARS message with your eye gouging falcon or whatever that thing is.
I like the hat, makes me look less regional. And you know what else I like? That we don't have embroidered wings on our shirts.

I have never seen a better Newk and DC9 picture than that. Nice ACARS.
If that's me, notice I have my hat on and I still look cool.
Chicks dig the hat (or, maybe it's the eagle).

Here's something to like... scheduling called to relieve me from my 24hour short call 12 hours early, so I can go back on short call at noon tomorrow. He should have started with "I've got some good news, and some bad news..." Oh well, at least I can have a beer now.

You know maybe instead of a double breasted Navy uniform and hat we should consider something more modern?
Like with a hoodie, our title displayed loud and clear, our names on it, our category and a bar code that allows gate agents to scan us rather than verify our names on a sheet of paper.

I never gave it much thought -- just figured that acting was part of the job and a hat was part of the costume.
