Wait a minute... how's sailing, that boot-licking DALPA lackey, ever going to manage expectations* if the openers aren't public?

Hey Clamp,
I certainly hope your right, but I've flown with two diffierent people within the administration and I been told that us seeing the opener is no certainty. THis has and is being debated.
As I told the last individual, if the rank and file have little to no information between the openers and the TA the MEC needs to be prepared for a restless pilot group.

It has nothing to do with the openers being made public or not. He is attempting to condition us to accept a lower pay increase. He has been consistent about this long before the discussion came up about whether or not the openers were going to be made public. Sailingfun has been a shill for management's point of view for a very long time. That is his track record and that is why I look at anything he posts with an exceptionally critical eye.

Explain to me how his speculation about the managent opener conditions you to accept a lower pay increase, because it sure doesn't work for me.

I didn't say it worked for me either. I suspect it does work on some... hopefully not many. What I did say is that he is attempting to lower expectations.

Right. I understand. I'm asking how you think this manages expectations, since it doesn't work fon me, and it doesn't work on you. You think there are pilots out there not quite as smart? You think a ridiculously insulting company opener is going to result in those hypothetical pilots having lower expectations? How does that work?
