Default Jetblue $14 Fare

Perhaps this has been posted already but I searched and couldn't come across anything.

JetBlue Offering Limited Cross-Country Flights for Less Than Checked Baggage Fees || Jaunted

$14 or the same amount the F/O makes during the trip.

There we go again... lower the bar.

The price also includes a pair of blue gloves so that you can clean the cabin after.

Spare me.

It's a stab at VA on a specific route that was only good for a specific set of days.
Pretty good marketing tool. IMHO

Here's the quote from the article that I liked:

"Unfortunately, trips returning from JFK are pricey. The lowest we found within a couple of days was $259"

Oh the humanity of paying $259 from New York to San Francisco!!!!!!
Yeah, that's pretty "PRICEY"

YES, $259, WHAT A RIP OFF. I can add another $100 and fly to London round trip. Where the hell is this industry going??? I can save money by flying instead of taking Greyhound, a boat, or even driving myself?
If this business plan works let me sell my car (save payment and insurance too) and start flight service from Eagan, MN - Plymouth, MN so I can get to work. I don't get it, well I do but the end result is a Monopoly Airline; so I don't get it.

Perhaps the final straw will be where the pilots pay each passenger $5 for flying.... We are getting closer.

Wow, it cost me 12.50 to put my wife on CAL and thats space available on the bottom of the list BEHIND chelsea catering. For 1.50 more ill just buy her a full fare ticket.

We wonder why we dont get paid anymore its because the airlines do not charge anymore. My wife just flew MHT-DAL for a wedding and gladly paid the $150.00 or whatever it was round trip to avoid the passriding disaster. I wouldnt be surprised if that airline did not even make a profit on that flight.
