Those are from Mike Boyd. He's been forecasting the decline of the 50 seat RJ since 2003, at least. He hasn't been as vocal on the 70 seat RJ, and has said nothing negative about the anything bigger . . . which is why these kinds of aircraft should be @ mainline, eliminating the whipsaw - but that's a whole 'nother thread.

Amazing some of the comments, how clueless the media is about airlines. Even Jane Wells, her hubby is (was?) an airline pilot, UAL I think, saying she "saw a Southern Air 747 somewhere", as an example of an airplane that's been sitting a long time. Right...

I was surprised to see the SWA 737 in the new livery among the dearly departed. Anyone from LUV have any idea why it's there? One of the 737-500's maybe?
