Default Check Airmen Pay - Average?

I'm attempting to get an average figure for check airmen pay among our peers in the industry. We have a flat $20/hr override at ALGT - includes ALL training; New Hire, Upgrade, Line Check, etc.

My guess is that our check airmen pay is quite low. Thanks for any input.

Hmmm..........better than at NWA. I get $15/hr when instructing OE. So not quite low at all!

My LCA override at Skywest for the Brasilia was $11/hour. That was a couple of years ago, though. I think it's higher now.

The overide at Compass is $15 an hour during those events you listed and 5 extra hours for the extra paperwork during the month when those events take place.

AirTran is a 20% override. For most check airman between $28 to $30 an hour.

15% at DL for LCA's and AQFO's... plus a few other things for office stuff and quarterly LCA meetings that somehow occur 3 times a year.
