To the latter, he is a junior FO with a lot to learn. Unfortunately, he is displaying his ignorance loudly and publicly and the whole RAH group is being unfairly painted with his brush.

To the former, in a relatively recent development the "leadership" at the RAH union has been thrown out by IBT international. There is still quite a bit of wrangling in the courts over it, but it looks like the ouster will stand.

This past leadership (or lack thereof) is the primary reason for the apathy among the group. The trustees who were installed by the International to replace the past leadership have an uphill battle to restore the confidence of the RAH group.

Seriously, at least the Duck is honest. And he has the courage to come here and tell us what he thinks.

Perhaps it IS a good deal for him to advocate stapling the F9 and Midex guys. However, when you destroy good paying legacy type jobs, it limits your career progession in the long run.

I'll make this my only post on the issue. First off hope all had as great a 4th of july as I did but to the point. These guys are absolutely right about me not speaking for them. Any and all statements/opinions were completely mine and I apologize if anything ever led people to believe otherwise. I enjoy debate and grown up issues. Sometimes I was devils advocate just to make points and others I let myself get drug into arguments about not being scabs etc. which aren't really conversations worth having. They are also right in saying I have a lot to learn which was the reason behind frequenting here. Some agree and some disagree but its always been nice to see everyone's views.

Where people have been wrong is that I'm happy to see anyone on the street and want a staple of anyone anywhere. People have made those assumptions but it's simply not true. I do my best to be honest about my feelings on things. Sorry if those things were seen as offensive to some. Believe me it was never an intention. Seeing as how some will only see things one way I'm going to refrain from speaking on these topics. A little worn out. Hope all of you had a great 4th.
