ACL65:

Money talks. Here's the options:

(1) ASA needs crew to operate flight. SkyWest gets paid a "bonus" for completion factor and the "bonus" is more than what ever minimal compensation SkyWest pays Delta to fly their crews around on mainline (it was free when we worked there).
(2) Delta's "call in honest" means the trip is usually lost by a senior lineholder and given to a reserve, saving the Company money.
(3) If coverage is non-existant and a green slip is the only option to cover a trip, I've heard tales of Crew Scheduling positive spacing a Delta pilot to work.

That's my guess.

They do Bar, but as the EV guys told me this is just the way they do it these days. Call and get a PSY ticket. Kind of funny when 30 DAL CA's were not going to make it to work that week.

Maybe it's time to implement the north call-in-honest poicy on the south side.

Assuming that PSYing means Positive Space, I have not heard a lick about cs doing this for guys. I haven't had to use it but have talked to 10-15 that have, maybe 2-3 recently and no one mentioned a hard ticket.

On the other hand PSYing could mean something completely different. If so just disregard.

I'll try again, but what I could tell it was -7(xx) where (xx) was how many seats the plane held in that class.

Thanks, I'll look around Icrew. I'm still finding things in there..........

Good Luck,

HNL or bust

Thanks,

Duke's is way too hot and way too 'spensive.
The Yardhouse has more taps and the scenery is GREAT there.

Desperado

P.S. Have you been to "Marianas Trench" in GUM??? You can ride the bus to the outlet mall and walk it, but it's a heluva lot easier to cab it... and you don't walk in dripping sweat. The Thai food is excellent.

I rode the bus over one time, but changed my mind and went to The Outback. The cab is a better idea. I've heard the food is great!! I've been going to the little place just out to the left and just past the park. Super food, 5 minute walk.

Your right about Dukes. Actually I rarely go there either, I likeie the Yard House and for a first stop and a late night last stop I've been hitting Coconut Willies. It's just inside the International Market, upstairs on the right about 100 feet in. Great food and music too......so I'm told

Can't say I've had that problem. It allowed me to list on overbooked flights and I couldn't make it the first two times yet still allowed me to list.

I'll give Coconut Willie's a chance. We went to the sports bar across from the statue of Duke last week. Good prices and discounted food, kinda' like Moose's. Once in Margaritaville was enough.
