That's the way number crunchers think. It's not good or bad, right or wrong. To them it's simply numbers on a spreadsheet. The software code in a computer has no emotion, ethics, it's simply math. As is the mind of a number cruncher. The problem is interfacing with the rest of the world that doesn't think that way.


And yes he will have his ass handed to him when the lawyers will play it to the jury moments before they make their damage award decision. It will be quite a Kodak moment for sure.


Someone really should advise him to wear a Depends undergarment during the presentation of the jury award. He's going to soil himself big time.

CAL MEC is holding a dial in "Town Hall Metting" this afternoon. A majority of the info coming to the table in this 'pow-wow' is going to cover the Furlough Mitigation that was announced as of late last night. It will be interesting to see if this fringe topic is mentioned anywhere in the meeting regarding that supposed comment.

Props to EWR's very own Jayson Baron, Kaye Riggs, and Tara Cook for supplying the great open/informational masterpiece, the Magenta Line. For those of us who have even glanced at it on APC, you can't help to laugh at the open section of each edition. Each issue opens with nutty quote(s) that have actually 'dribbled' from the lips of our upper mgt/chief pilots in the recent months. The probability of Fred Abbott saying that unbelievably stupid comment regarding cost & safety?? I have not seen anything definitive...BUT would like to qualify in saying, it would NOT SHOCK ME THE LEAST if he did...even word for word
