Its not over yet....Mesa only won an injunction to delay the termination of the contract until the full case can be heard in court.....

DAL is going to take it to trial, we shall see how that turns out....

where did I say that? What was the main idea of my post? Flying going back to mainline.
I don't want more flying for any regional at the cost of other pilots especially mainline guys...who put in thier hard time at "the commuters" before moving up and are now getting furloughed cause the flying is going to replacement airlines.
The thing that angers me the most about Republic is that they are a DIRECT replacement to the Midwest guys. I was angry at management first off (and still am of course) but now I'm meeting rah guys who are happy to be going to Mke. That's why I don't have respect for those guys.

I think that it is time to grow up and realize that the industry is changing and will NEVER return to what it was when we first got into it. As much as you'd like it to stay as it was, it will never be the same, and it seems that Republic Airway's Holdings is changing the way the game is played. (Maybe I'm wrong.) I know I'm just as disappointed in the way the industry has taken the fun out of the job - but I still enjoy flying!

now i have no respect for skywest pilots b/c of Avi8ter! b/c all skywest pilots are like Avi8ter...

I heard from the gate agent in ORD that all express contracts are up and so are the gate agents and rampers. Right now she said that they are neg. both contracts. She has 12 years there and is forced to either go part time or move as they are bringing in Swiss Port to handle the ramp and gate duties. She stated that RAH and SW are going to see an increase in flying as the complaints about MESA are through the roof and they are trying to get out of their contract.

Just a lonely rumor, but all the contracts are up!
