I never could tell a DC-9-30 from a -40.
only that -30s are a little bit shorter, it's like telling a 319 from a 320

When the last A320 is retired, the pilots that took it to the graveyard will ride home on a DC-9.

The 88 is much longer, "fish tail", plus has a FOD "skirt" behind the nosewheels..(from a distance, looks like a chock to keep it from rolling backwards on uphill taxiways)

Great. So the smallest aircraft mainline will be flying will be the A-319 with 124 seats. That's a pretty big gap between 76 seats and 124 seats. What's going to fill it? My guess is something at the DCI's as soon as the union relaxes scope some more.

Midwest Express nee RAH seems to fill it perfectly. What a coincidence, there's already a codeshare in place!

Ahem, yes, one way. Not sure Midwest selling the ticket on Expedia is that much different than Delta selling the ticket on Expedia, and the practical effect is the same: 100 seat feed for Delta being flown at regional rates.
