Hmmm.... just like our politicians. Big difference is that the politicos sweep their funds into their PACs and avoid income taxes... and Moore pays his dues to Uncle Sam... So who is and who is not above board?
Politics has nothing to do with it. Getting the "facts" out by being a lying hypocrite won't help any of us.
Even the most cursory fact check of any of his films will leave you gagging at the lies, half truths and fabrications. Not exactly the sort of support we need.
It does sell well with an uninformed public and that turns the trick. It is easy to fool most of the people much of the time.
"Lying Hypocrite"????? Im not supporting him or not supporting him but he is stating the facts. Pilots making 18000 a year, pilots that are responsible for many lives earning pennies....you call someone who puts that out there a "hypocrite"? WOW. I'm not the smartest dude out there but it sounds to me like he is just telling the truth....that and it sounds like you have something against him....I dont give a crap whether you do or dont....but how could you not support someone who is putting our "struggle" out to the public?
I guess we will agree to disagree dude.
I'll bite. If anybody watched the interview you know that Moore does pay taxes, and would not object to paying more taxes if the public would see a benefit from it. He made it clear that the American people pay taxes and an increase would create no direct benefit.
I also find it funny that many of you attack him for making money on a movie about capitalism. He is not against the theory of capitalism. He is publicizing how the system is broken. The facts are, hard work, honesty, and a good set of morals don't pay off as they should. Just look at the postings on this here website.

The system might work for us without the RLA. Seriously, very few cities only have 1 121 operator any more, there isnt much need for it.

Check your facts, there is really no reason to believe anything this guy tells you. It is just too easy to find the truth these days, look at the history and the chain of events.
"Moore himself is one of these ultra-wealthy few, with a net worth exceeding $50 million. On November 1, 2005, World Net Daily reported that the anti-capitalist Moore -- who had proudly declared "I don't own a single share of stock!" -- in fact owned tens of thousands of shares in U.S. stocks. Most notably, Moore owned more than 2,000 shares in Halliburton -- the gas and oil company he excoriated in his film Fahrenheit 9/11."

I don't care for Michael Moore. But I will say he does bring some things to light. I wish he would have covered a little excerpt about RAH putting the little "Connect" stickers on their toy jets and replacing 400 high paid individuals with low cost, inexperienced labor with the blessings of a corrupt arbitration system.
