Not sure about that.

The Republic guys on this webboard say that after October 1 .... Republic, Midwest and Frontier pilots are brothers. We will see if their word is good.

Attention Midwest Pilots: 10-15-09 Web Board “Press Release” is Bogus!

By Capt. Tony Freitas, MEC Chairman

It has come to our attention that a fake press release has been posted on the Airline Pilot Central web board. We do not know the source of this so-called “AP release,” which has no basis in fact and which we have confirmed is completely bogus. Neither Capt. Prater nor I have made, or would ever make, any such statements as were attributed to us. If you have any questions about this, please don’t hesitate to contact one of your MEC officers.

OK. I've officially lost hope for the YX pilot group...for crying out loud.

Not a joke, but an indictment of ALPA and Prater. And I can't believe some are wound so tight that they cannot discern irony/sarcasm by the title of the post and the TIC comment.

BTW, I don't know who the author is, found it elsewhere and passed it along

The time for a mass resignation with ALPA pay was when the Republic deal was first announced. It would do no good now.

Well my calendars all show Oct 17 today. I will assume you meant to say Nov. 1?

Please tell me you are not so desperate to believe what your "future" brothers and sisters from RAH, who happen to enjoy typing their every thought on this webboard, are saying!!

Per the fellas in the MEH mec office any SLI will probably not be resolved until sometime 2010. Unless you would like for the IBT/FAPA to make the decisions for you, in that case I'm sure it can be expedited.

I had to use the D concourse yesterday and believe me it will leave a horrid taste in your mouth just to see what its turned into. There was an RAH jser on F9 and I heard both the FA's and pilots complain about his demeanor both during and after the flight.

As always, I am SURE, this one individual does not the RAH pilot group make.

I guess what I am trying to say is don't be surprised if after you've waited all this time to get your job back that it falls SO short of your expectations. And that supposes some arbitrator(s) decide to be generous.(again don't hold your breath) Find something else, anything, and free yourself. You cannot undo what is already done.

Good luck my friend

I understand and feel that Republics pilot union will continue to undermine the Midwest pilot union to gain jobs. But if in the next 2-3 week a integration deal is made it will change my opinion.

Time will tell. We owe them the time to back-up their words.

On a different note, have you read all the Republic Corporate letters with the word ... associates. Without some employee backbone, this companys is going to become the Wal-Mart of aviation...

cheap labor and cheap fares

or a professional pilots nightmare.

Even if you are awarded a first year fo job??
Even the FAPA guys ran from this weeks meetings. There is a whole lot of jockeying for position which will end up in an arbitration. That will take a lot of time.

Where exactly do you see those words, are they official?

going to become???
Too Late
No offense to the employees, WalMart can probably learn a thing or two from RAH and this hypocrite Bedturd. He is smarter than TH but more devious in many ways!

Show me one time anyone said they'd have integration done within a couple week. Seems like you keep wanting to hold people to your word.
