Other than SWApA union prez sending out emails discussing the topic of furloughs, not much. He concludes with "enjoy your weekend."

Nothing yet. I can tread water like an Olympic swimmer though! I can do the back float, side float, survival float, you name it.

Just grateful to be in the pool!

Saw this "GK - State of the Union" from this past week (Oct 15th), thought is had some informative info for poolie's.

He said at about the 2:10 mark in the interview that 2010 growth expects to show 'flat' when comparing it to 2009. Hopefully with some attrition (if there is such a thing from the "60-65er's" retiring), that may bring some guys outta the pool before pruning sets in?? Best of luck to those waiting.

We are currently over manned by approximately 200-400 pilots depending on how you look at it. If we can get all the old geezers out, maybe there can be some attrition. Until we grow, you all will be in the pool for a while. Hopefully, not for long. Keep swimming....
