I wonder if they have accounted for this in regards to current staffing?
That is my concern. How many 76 seaters on slated for delivery and what is the replacement schedule on the 50 seaters (is it one 76 seater for one 50 seater, 1 for 2, etc, etc). Always be cautious when simple stats with no supporting details.
As predicted, this massive loss of cash is being spun as some sort of fantastic "win" by the spinmeisters. I WANT Delta to succeed. I NEED Delta to succeed. But the numbers reported from the WSJ don't look pretty.
"Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?", as the saying goes . .

They don't have any 76 seaters slated for delivery, they are at the maximum already.
• Delta's 2010 system capacity is expected to decline approximately 3% compared to 2009.
