That has everything to do with how the process is followed or else they would leave it at the arbitrators decision. However with your snyde remarks you've yet to understand that there are other pilot groups at the negotiating table. The quickness you're brought back depends on the other parties involved just as much as RAH. Your spot on the list could be altered by Frontier and Lynx as well and vice versa.

We have to complete an SLI, representation drive, and an entirely new CBA before our current CBA disappears. 2012 is an unrealistic time frame to get all of the above tasks complete, but 2015?
My vote is anything but IBT.

Carry on.

I don't think that FAPA would have much resistance from any of the pilot groups if and when they have a representation drive. There are already numerous threads on the RAH pilot boards about how much people want this.

FAPA or some new derivative thereof. I've been ALPA. You're their best friend when it's dues paying time. But God Forbid you should ever have a differing opinion with another airline represented by the same union, only with bigger pocketbooks. Independent union is the way to go. Adequately represented by all the new parties.

Rightseat Ballast, I understand your point of view and agree with 90 percent of it.

I just believe it's not rocket science to see that 20 year Midwest Captain, actively flying a 717 on the date of merger/purchase, holding a position in the top ten percent of the Midwest seniority list should be integrated above a furloughed anything.

The integration talks seem to be driven by the lawyers verses common sense or fair play. BB says integration will move quickly, but after four months nothing has been agreed too.

No it doesn't. The process agreed to spells out sli negotiations. Once the arbitrator has the helm it is the jurisdiction of A/M.

On another note how many republic pilots will be in Mke tonight for the last real Midwest flight? My over under is 2. AirTran will most likely have more. I doubt any of your exco will even be there. If this is indeed the case it's pathetic.

No offense but why would they? What did you do for Skyway's last flight? Or United with the 737? The list goes on. A little hubris.

I will be there for the last Republic flight when they blow this. I will laugh in the crews face, might even buy a ticket to be on it.

Why is the AirTran MEC there? Why are Delta pilots there? Yes I was around for Skyways last flight. Didn't get to go to the party though. Your United comparison is ridiculous. You and your ilk just don't get it and it seems your union leaders are in the same boat.

Hopefully you will soon be at AirTran and help eliminate this cancer.
