You may have information critical to the decision that cannot be released to the general membership. In my case, I usually voted Nay and sent out my reasons via email and attached to Council Minutes.

This is a good exercise for a new representative of the pitfalls of NDA's and the effect it has on your representation of your pilots. Unfortunately the time most likely for this to happen is in times of great distress for the pilot group.
Agreed with what you state, but that was not the question.
If you DO have information that is covered under NDA that would greatly sway the opinion of your council pilots then of course that is what you should do.
I also agree that you should give reasons as to why to your pilots.

You were asking if I would vote against my council pilots and in favor of the rest of the groups wishes.
In my mind that is two different things.

Speaking of Greg, I read his website and was very very impressed.

Yep. I heard one of the other candidates (RW) has given him his full support.

We need folks like DN and GR as a counter to the steamroller. They might only be a speedbump to "the machine", but there needs to be more than just a rubber stamp.

I think the real question everyone is missing is, how good are you on those drums?

Agreed - I have spoken with him often. He is EXACTLY what DALPA needs to go into the future. VOTE!

Totally agree. But Dave can't do it by himself. Everyone who likes Dave should take a close look at the other candidates to see which ones would likely be a good compliment, and vote accordingly.

A very very important point. One man cannot do it. It takes a group of guys to effect change. One person will just be labeled a failure because there is no way one many can change it all by himself.

Dave has played for almost 30 years. Probably not the best drummer at DAL but he can more than hold his own!

I saw RM, a DAL 88 captain on you tube do a very good drum solo. Don't know if anyone can find the link.
