Default United Info

Just after a bit of info on United, if anyone can help.

Do you have and pilot bases outside the USA or do you have FA bases outside the USA?
Someone is trying to tell me they are a United Pilot, based in Bangkok and flying both the 777 and the 744.

Sounds far fetched to me.

Thanks

The United domiciles are all in the US, but CO does have one in Guam. United does have flight attendants domilciled outside the US. Unless they were management, United pilots only fly one aircraft type.

For flight attendants - that used to be true when we had a BKK base. Now the route is staffed with NRT F/As. The segment is operated with 777 and 747 alternately throughout the year though.
Hope this helps :-)

PS. Flying the NRT-BKK next month if you would like me to do some research for you..
