Latest class that started yesterday had a total of 10 new hire pilots. Four pilots are going into the B-737 and 6 into the E-190. Two more classes are scheduled. (one in march and one in April) Additional hiring/classes to begin in July. Things are slowed down until then due to a backlog in the simulators. Starting around July they are expected a lot of hiring going forward in anticipation of retirements. (per MGMT)

That is good news. Unfortunately, with this industry, I will have to wait to see it to believe it. But, I'll still hold out for the best!

As far as training pay goes....

Do we receive pay for our home study (NGS) every 3 months?

Do we receive pay for our deadheads to / from training in CLT?

Bummer...in the biggest sense...unreal...got the let down email yesterday...i guess they didnt "get" to my name...I suppose that I'm too far down the alpabet, maybe I should change my name from Vladamir..HAHAHA!!! I'll just keep knocking until they call also...
