Southwest Rejection, again...

Hrk,
Sorry to hear about your news. One positive thing is your letter says you can apply at the next window. I interviewed in Nov 2011 and recevied my thanks but no thanks letter after the Dec decision board. My letter says I am welcome to reapply ONE YEAR from my interview date. Not sure why I have to wait a year, but at least the way yours is worded you don't have to wait a year, so there is one little postitive thing for you to look at.

My bad. I didn't realize it was an email from the application process vice the decision board letter. Keep trying and don't give up!

That is priceless! Herk, sorry about the interview. If you really want the job I dare ya to send that letter to the Chief Pilot and then show up for class w/ a notarized copy reminding them of your correspondence. Other than a restraining order, what's the worst that could happen? Good luck! ps...If you need a laugh read AngryPilotWife.blogspot

Here's a 'rejection letter' story for you.
Back in 1972, Delta bought North East. North East was hiring at the time, but Delta Cancelled any NE Classes that had not yet started. My Dad was in such a class, that's the only way I know this.
But ONE GUY showed up for his class on the scheduled date. The NE guys told him DL had cancelled his class...he should have recieved a letter. This one guy was in transit, just got out of the Marines, and was driving cross country, so he missed the letter.
Well, just to 'poke Delta in they eye' NE held a class...for this one guy. The "Class Of One" and tacked him onto the bottom of their list. He retired from DL several years ago, after a long and glorious career!
My Dad ended up at NW, many years later...but he was always po'd he didn't show up for that class!
