The next person who turns the tool of the day thread into a spelling/grammar nazi competition is officially the tool of the day.

I'm mean 3+ fracking pages of this crap, enough already.

Gotta say, I've been flying airliners since 1995 and have never lost a button on an epaulet due to the harness. Never lost a button at all, in fact. What are you guys doing?

We might have seen the same guy. Can't imagine there are many who utilize that move.

I want to say it was an AA Captain.

Must be more than one. I've never jumpseated on AA. I was jumpseating on an RJ at the time.

I've seen more than one guy put a handkerchief over his crotch before putting on the lap belt. What is that all about? (please one honest answer before someone starts talking about covering up a woodrow).

Took me 10 years, and then boom...2 trips in a row I lost buttons. Did I anger the airbus gods somehow? Perhaps I should start wearing them all phases of flight and encourage others to do the same? Including threading them through my epaulets?

I have to save others from experiencing this same travesty!

It keeps the seatbelt from rubbing the thighs of your pants and making them shiny.

Also helps the goldbond set better.
