I know this is probably a legitimate question and not a troll, but allow me to have some fun with this one...

Realistically, with pilots on furlough, and a lot of uncertainty regarding AA's TA and the merger, my GUESS (I have no inside scoop sorry...) would be not for a few years.

They haven't hired in a decade and haven't even assembled an HR team for hiring, like someone above said they have guys on furlough who haven't seen recalls as well as 240ish Eagle guys who are on the seniority list at AA and 20ish or so flow backs

Even if they were hiring, why would anybody want to work there?

I have a good friend that works the ramp at Delta, and he's got me lined up for an interview sometime early September.

I'm at 520tt and 27 multi, which I hear is good enough for an -er slot. I didn't come all this way to fly narrowbody.

get in line, they have over 1000 on furlough, and 300+ needing to get out of Eagle as well. Once they actually hire you have another 800 and change at Eagle that will make up 50% of the new hire classes. That 800 and change is a hard number, because when one guy passes, it keeps rolling down the seniority list till that many people go.

Also on paper, since Eagle has guys on furlough, all classes till we dont, would be 50% Eagle. Considering the people who work there have friends, mainly military, who have been waiting for over 10 years to work there, I think you have a better chance to go make more at UPS.

What a mess along with the possibility of AA being sold off as a whole or in pieces to the first fat person with the biggest cigar.
