some tech got sick and tired of someone asking about Why the aileron had he corner cropped off of it and wanted it CLEARLY understood, Yeah we Know about it! Handle your Business and We'll hanle Ours!! Frustration can be overwheming at times, though in this instance it was poorly Handled,

I heard second hand that in the case dealing with the Q-400s the rivets they used were actually stronger than the FAA approved ones. If that's the case then I'd say a fine and all the press was way out of line.

The Q400 rivets were stronger than the FAA approved rivets...that's a fact. It was after the FAA showed a cautious eye later that we agreed to replace them, then comes the fine.
