I think the seat lock is only 18 months at airways

FO seat lock is 18 months, unless you upgrade.

Upgrade seat lock is two years.

Results of the August 2013 bid are out. E190 CA did indeed go down to early 2012 hires. Vacancies remaining on the bid are:

CLT A320 - 35
CLT B737 - 27 (these won't be filled in all likelihood)
DCA A320 - 4
PHL A320 - 18
PHL E190 - 30

People hired in 2011 will have 400+ underneath them by the end of this year.

I stand corrected, but how about if you upgrade after being displaced. Say off the 75 fo to 190 capt?

Looks like hiring to continue, eh?
Must be why they put out another app window.

Anytime you are involuntarily displaced, you do not incur a seat lock. It does not matter if you are displacing from F/O to Capt. Section 24 of the contract.

From workingforfree, this works like a champ until they get their software glitch sorted out.

Good luck!
