DFW commuter parking prices
Anyone else out there think that employee parking prices at DFW have gotten a little rediculous? $114 a quarter/$456 for a year.
That is a tremendous increase! And if you complain in the office, they give you the whole 'don't shoot the messenger' spiel. Have they got us all by the huevos? Wondering if someone out there has found a more affordable alternative.

It's good to know that the parking isn't the most expensive in the country. But all the other places named are fairly high when it comes to cost of living, unlike DFW. It's also a little disconcerting that the last time I got a permit, it was $66/qtr. To have gone up 45% over 3 years doesn't seem reasonable. Seems to me like there was a budget short fall and commuting pilots are picking up the tab. Hopefully DART will go straight into the airport sometime in the near future.
