I got the email last Monday, called immediately the next morning and got an interview 5 weeks after. They said you can wait up to 2 weeks to call in... but I guess I called maybe 10 minutes before the guy that got the same email and got an Interview in March.
No "Fix It" emails, luckily.
My background:
TT: 3700 hours
IP/EP: 720 hours
C-17 Evaluator Pilot
MC-12 Mission Commander
C-21 Aircraft Commander
3 Recs internal, 1 CA, 2 FOs.
I have the Feb 20 and hopefully Feb 21st Interview. If you are in town the same time and want to meet up before, PM me! Good Luck to All!

I was told by a few people internally that the recs help get you the interview, and they aren't even looked at by those who do the interviewing on Day 1.
Good Luck!

Just back
I just got home from my interview. It was a great experience and they really put you at ease when you get there…they want you to succeed. If you get the call, be yourself and you'll be fine. I went to Cage Consulting at Centennial Airport in Denver and it was definitely worth the $400 to bounce some stories off somebody else, plus get some great tips…I highly recommend them to anybody going for an interview.

I had 6, but not sure if there's a correlation between number of internal recs vs. other things on the app...and getting an interview invitation. I don't know how the Delta app algorithm spits out the names it does so, without knowing that, it might be inaccurate to say X number of recs gets you an invitation.
I was surprised only 600 had recs. I would think they could get through this number very quickly.

Well, I have plenty of flight time, all the cool stuff like Stan Eval, Safety etc, a CP rec letter, a 16 yr Cpt letter, an FO letter, two letters from commanders, even a good FAA letter from a controller and the DAL Cpt went to personnel twice and I still got no email or call for interview. App was submitted in Nov.
Just hanging out.
