Some bi-fold doors open in and some open out. Some doors are all one piece. Plus, the actual bathroom size seems to be a tiny bit bigger.

Staffing and flying are slowly being reduced on the 7ER in NYC, 2010 hires are still at the bottom of that list. Its really not a likely option for any new hire this year to get 7ER NYC, and it appears that its slowly shrinking as people bid off it.

There have been a handful but they are going to sit at the very bottom indefinitely. A backfill here or there but not much more is the new norm.

makes sense. Its a 1 for 1 757 replacement with the 739, correct?

I think there are more Douglas versions of the 73N than 757 ' s getting parked. The 757 will become a niche, high and hot, transcontinental hot rod. As some as noted, it seems to be taking some of the Malaria flying from the 73.

long routes on the 75 will help keep the cycles down which is good for longevity I guess. Im guessing the 75s that are being parked are for cycling out rather than timing out?

The way the loads are, they'd be nuts to retire any airframe.

Any comments?
Here is a different perspective from a previous Boeing guy who absolutely loves the 75/767. I think you might really want to consider going to the A320 and here is why.

IMO Delta is seriously trending towards buying Airbus aircraft for the future. And they will be around for a long time. Look at the last couple of orders. We are now getting 45 (?) 321's and 10 new 330's. There is a wide body RFP out now and if Airbus does make a 330 neo, I think that's what Delta will go for (mostly). If not I think Airbus will make a better deal on the 350. I do think the order will be split but I also think it will be in Airbus's favor.

Whatever you decide you will be pleasantly surprised because they are all good! Good Luck!

Thanks for all the feedback on the ER. Just got home from my yellow fever shot, so at least I'm covered if I end up going that route! With the ER slowly shrinking, would the 737 be a compromise, with the occasional senior -900 trip assigned to a lowly reserve pilot?

Funny how things change over and over again. I got hired in 00 and the big thing back then was called the 2015 fleet plan and it was going to be all boeing and next generation.
