jetBlue Hiring

442 JFK 320 FO
125 FLL 320 FO
113 LGB 320 FO
191 BOS 320 FO
75 MCO 320 FO
131 JFK 190 FO
243 BOS 190 FO
38 MCO 190 FO
JFK/BOS are most junior and where all newhires start initially. You should be able to hold FLL/LGB within a year (assuming you started as a 320 FO and don't have a 2-yr seat lock on the E190). MCO is a wildcard and might take 1-2+years to hold.

I also got the same TBNT email from JB. Got shot down before I even interviewed. I attended WAI and Vets in Blue. I have just over 5,000 with the 1.3 mil conversion I was told to apply. Don't know what other box to check, 121 PIC, Mil Heavy, Masters, Mil IP and community service. Discouraging because from the outside JB seems like a great place to work. Guess there is always next time. Just don't know what else to check off to get a call.
I am over just over 100 hours in the last year (budget cuts). Wonder if this has anything to do with it. I wish sim instructor time counted for something.
Congratulations to those who were hired from the recent Vets in Blue event !

Yes, because researching and attempting to find out these things is "keeping my head in the sand." I don't know who Snoopy is, or I would shoot him an e-mail.
As for causing the issue, as I said, I've never had an issue. Sorry if my reality doesn't match with yours. I'd be happy to meet up in person and compare notes, though. However, I won't be holding my breathe. Easy to be a tough guy through the anonymity of the internet.
BTW, I've yet to see an answer to my question. What would be the solution to the problem? Someone FINALLY sent me the info on the old Blue Care plan. Yes, if I were on that and was forced into what we have now, I'd be angry, too. So, would getting the same level as pilots had under Blue Care back be a satisfactory solution? What would you be willing to give up in order to get that back? This is the thinking we now need to shift to with ALPA voted in. People complained and got the means to change voted in. Now, it's time to shift from complaining to doing.

Kellwolf - Here are some ideas for how we can improve our health care:
1) COVER SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN.
2) WHATEVER CHILDREN MIGHT NEED, JUST PLAIN COVER IT!!!!
It simply sickens me that our company kicks children to the curb. It is disgusting, infuriating, immoral and they should be deeply ashamed of the harm they cause families with this massive failure. Denying children the care they need does certainly cause harm. Caring for children when they are young is relatively cheap and extremely cost-effective. There is no excuse whatsoever for denying much needed care to children.
Now, without the caps, and taken from my former regional
3) Lower the deductible just some - say $500 - $1000 single, $1500 - $2000 family.
4) INCLUDE the deductible in the max out of pocket. If a crummy regional can, we can too.
5) INCLUDE prescriptions in the deductible and max out of pocket. Why in gods name should prescriptions be excluded? Again, crummy regional yada yada yada...
6) Lower the premiums some (remember that regional?).
7) Improve the god-awful dental. My regional paid 80%, not 50% and was cheaper.
This regional loved and raved about how inexpensive their medical plan was for the company. I don't see why we can't do at least as well.

My times were 4880 TT, 1500 Turbine (no PIC). In recent months folks from my company had been hired with less time. I had attended 2 job fairs including WIA. The email got my hopes up that my time to get the shot was coming, and now I too feel real down about it. It's where I want to work though so I will keep trying. It would help a tad if I knew what it is they are looking for as competitive.

Later found that one of my 5 + recommendations was a vocal union guy back during their 2nd union drive ( I think it was the second vote?) talked with him and we both think it may have played a part in not hearing anything during my most recent applications.
Go figure, I applied to my first Legacy 2 years ago, and was in class 2 months later..
It all works out in the end

Thats funny.
190 upgrades are being told they may need to go to training within a week of the bid. Summer will be rough at jetblue. High bid divisors and understaffed. With they way Jetblue, admittedly so, handles IROPS we will all be working our collective arses off.
