It isn't 2013 anymore

If they ask you why spirit, tell them you have no interest in ever upgrading and believe in the ULCC model so much you're willing to be the lowest paid Airbus pilot out there.
This is pretty funny. +1

What hotel do people tend to stay at the night before the interview? Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale SW/Miramar
14501 Hotel Road, Miramar, FL? Do the hotels provide transportation to Spirit's headquarters?

In the past the interview has not been at "headquarters". It's been at the training center which really isn't a center it's just the 2nd floor of an fbo. If you stay in miramar you will be 45min away.

That dumb B----- at Island Air had the nerve to yell at us last year because we were too noisy in our Break.

I wonder what Deltas training center is like, or UALs "Training Kingdom" <-------have to laugh at that expression .

Probably makes ours look like the lav after a PAP flight.

I don't care about the "fluff" but they better start to fng pay us or most of us will get to see what a Legacy training center looks like. Pretty sad When you're an Airbus CA and applying elsewhere

Any tips from those of you currently in class? Should have my Spirit training packet in the next week or two.

Lol-

You should forgive that dumb b____,

For trying to conduct business while clowns like you are telling your "there I was....." stories....

Wanna go to a Legacy training center- then go... or quit *****in... Things around here are in flux and changing daily. I think 5 years ago we had 1/3 the pilots and ZERO sims....

I'm not defending MGMT at all, but a bit of a reality check might be in order....

If you get a chance, study the memory items and limitations. Look over the flows and callouts.

Get all your personal stuff taken care of, training is fast paced and a bit of a fire hose effect.

Best advice I can give is come to training with a positive attitude, you'll do fine.

You'll get a list of recommended hotels before your interview. The Hilton garden inn by miramar won't help you very much.

The Hilton garden inn in dania by the airport is more what you're looking for. They provide transportation to the training center and you have the chance to meet other folks interviewing with you downstairs at breakfast before the shuttle takes you over.
