For the low timers... Just know that it is your typical fire hose training. Only 4 sim sessions, then a type ride. Not saying a lower time new hire could not get through.. but I know personally, it would have been extremely difficult for myself if I would have been hired with some of the times/experience levels some of the current candidates have.
Good luck

Depends on how much you study. Honestly, I felt I was prepared for the sim because you do the same thing over and over again. It's a big boy program so just study with your SIM partner and you will be fine. They aren't trying to trick you. It's all laid out in the packet they give you with the profiles. PM me if you have any other questions.

They did this 2 years ago at one of the job fairs. The common trait of those getting the onsite interview was Training Department experience. They had guys taking the Cognitive Test there and staying an extra day for the panel interview.

Especially when one of the volunteers is a current ALPA MEC committee chair member for us.
