Spirit Airlines current hiring
#306
Yes. (I had just over 4300 total time)
Yes, I know a few people in this boat. I also know a few with much more than 10k hours who've gotten hired on.
The magic combo seems to be job fairs + letters of rec, but again, nobody seems to know the exact formula. Stay persistent.
Took me two job fairs, a few letters and a steady stream of updated resumes, FedEXed to SF directly. Which of these avenues worked? No clue. But it finally happened, after a year of dogged persistence.
Good luck!
Can you have 10k and never get a call?

Ive read some of your interesting posting history. Thankfully you are nowhere even close to Spirits mins to even worry about what the hour requirements are. Furthermore, you might want to grow into your own pants before you try putting on the big boy britches
