That's a big JetBlue route.
Spirit tends to stay away from stuff like that and likes to go aganist the big guys who won't go after the "low hanging fruit".
It would be a very interesting one to watch.
(Not saying anything bad about Spirit FYI)

It would be a little bit of a switch, so far it's been blue putting flights on top of Spirit so maybe they are ready to return the favor.
Sorry for the thread drift.

Anywhere to BZE.
Belize is the only Central American country not serviced by us (nor any other (U)LCC's for that matter) and the pricing offered by the Big Three(PointFive) are considerably more than normal for that part of the world...
Why we're not ripping open that market is beyond me.

Hey guys, just looking for some advice. I will be attending a job fair where Spirit will be present. I just want to be prepared as possible. I have called two friends that work there and got some advice. Is there anything else that I could do to increase my chances on landing an interview?
About me:
4,500 Turbine, 500 Turbine PIC, ATP
-Plan on bringing my resume and reference letters and all documents
-Hopefully can express my desire to stay at Spirit (this is really what I do want)
-Let them know I would plan on moving to a domicile (I do)
Any other sage advice?

To do NYC to SJU efficiently we'd need a second HF radio for the WATERS PLUS airspace to cut the corner. It's a long ride down the east coast before headed for SJU. Right now we can only be in there for 30 minutes. A lot more profit to be made elsewhere right now.

Best of luck, sounds like you've got the credentials and desire.

Thank you so much for the reply. I have heard somtimes the response is fast, sometimes slow. I have heard the job fairs are the way to go also. Wish me luck as I plan to keep going to fairs till they hire me as honestly Spirit is my number one choice.

Just so you know... You are looking for a simple Yes or No. Its not a point system. If they like you go in the yes pile, if they don't you go in the no pile. Easy peasy.
