Is this compete effectively for Spirit or another company like them.

Thanks!!!
The answer is yes if you want to work at Spirit. People have been hired with less. There isn't an exact forumla, but if you want the best chance at getting hired, go to the job fair and get your internal recommendations together.

THIS!
Best chance is through a job fair. It's a painful process, costs money, but is the surest way to get a chance to be hired on.

You don't wait until you think you are "competitive" to go to the job fair. You go as soon as you can and if they don't call you go again and again until they take notice. I went to 3 over two years before I got called. Most in my class took a shot in the dark and went to one and got a call.

This is the best advice... Don't wait. As soon as you meet the mins, get on your buddies for recs and get to a job fair. I rolled the dice thinking I wasn't even remotely competitive and it was the best decision I've made in this career so far.

Spirit Airlines is requiring 500 TPIC (Part 121 or Part 135) for the FLL job fair. This is a Spirit HR requirement and not an Aero Crew Solutions requirement.

If you have a question about the job fair please let us know.

I don't know how the new TPIC requirement will effect the job fair. I mean there was 250 tickets and the take a number list shows 217 people. I wonder if they even sold 250 tickets. The next fair they are only selling 200 tickets.
