From the pilot’s side, we are probably closer now to the end of the mediated bargaining sessions. G4 management hasn’t smelt the coffee yet, so they have consistently shammed the process with crap proposal one after the other, even the cost neutral stuff is a struggle with these people. An OP gave a good example of B6 having surpassed us in TA’d items, and have only just begun. In comparison we have been in negotiations for over two years now.

As always MG’s actions speak louder than his words. Negotiators have standing orders to not agree to anything and offer concessionary economic proposals. As a side bar to the on going negotiations will be an interesting remedy from the las vegas federal court. Where our injunction and lawsuit are filed, for illegally violating status quo, by converting our bidding process from Line to PBS.

The merits of the case are obvious to everyone, except G4 management. The judge has already granted our injunction for immediate relief because we are more than likely to win the lawsuit. His words not ours. The end of which is near. This combined with the NMB witnessing nothing of substance from G4. IMHO, I think his statement is correct, not because he believes it to be true.

So, first off I'll walk a line with you fellas. Don't worry about that, my sign on is for a laugh. My question is does anybody know what the new hire class schedule is? Due to a lack of options I took the job, but can't take the November class start date due to a mil deployment. I'm afraid they won't be running another class for a long time. Any ideas? Thanks

Don't worry, this place will be a perpetual revolving door. You'll have plenty of classes to choose from.

I believe there are two classes scheduled for December IIRC. I believe they're getting backed up in the sim again so that may change.

The LAS 88 sim is working pretty decent for once. The 82 supposedly is having to be re-programmed after the panel was reconfigured, then re-certified by the FAA. There lies the bottleneck, but several PanAm instructors are being certified to train NH's both in LAS, & MIA. Class of 43 just getting into sims, & first 6 of next staggered-start upgrade class started 2-week Ground this past Mon. I'm guessing IOE guys are over-capacity now, too!!
