It's not a done deal yet. The IBT should print up all the MG quotes from the court records regarding what he thought of the work rules and distribute them to the F/A's. Nothing stopping them from writing in IBT when they vote.

This thread made me laugh! At least some people get it though.

If a strike is approved, would it last long enough for me to get through training? I just want to check the box on my resume. MD-80 airliner, baby!

If they go on strike, perhaps I can skip the regionals and hire right into the big boys. If they strike, will they hire direct entry Skippers?

I heard Allegiant is having a career fair in Chicago on July 16 and 17. Does anyone have any more info on this? I am a 135 SIC with 2500 TT and 800 jet. Would this be worth taking several days off and buying a ticket to Chicago? Or is the 3000TT pretty solid?

Do you live in one of our bases? The drama in this thread is real... I'd take heed to it.

That said, the 3000tt is very solid, there's plenty of people still applying with more than that. There have been some AMF flows, but I'm not sure how many. The exceptions have been mil, or guys with mostly PIC time, CKA and management types.

If you can read Allegiant sounds like Qol Hell type rating or not.

Why not just sit on the sidelines and let the CEO and his employees who wear "Us against them hats" have to change work rules, pay, Qol, and tactics before you become an employee?

Yes I know a Captain that once in a while gets 2 in a row off, but I would hope 3 off would be the min unless one would want OT...

This is not the CEO's first rodeo, if I had to guess, his plan A is find people who have shiny jet syndrome, Plan B merge with another airline reset the clock on all problems.

Just my .02 but why would anyone want to perpetuate this company for what they are offering when hang in there and Delta, American, United will have jobs in the next few years that will pay way more???

SJS is pervasive! It's symptoms begin with foaming at the mouth and culminate in pining after any operator with shiny jets. It is cured only by the inevitable disillusionment that follows.

There is absolutely no other cure on the planet. I know. I had it once.

If you plan on coming here, please do so with your eyes wide open. The company will sell you out in a minute. I'm sure you've worked really hard for your career to this point, why take the risk?

G-d forbid you have an incident, they will be looking for all the things you did wrong rather than all the things you did right. Jobs are on the line daily here.
