Good luck to the crew, for their impending “Safety-Briefing”. All CVR and DVR I’m sure have been fully downloaded by now. What’s that you ask? Oh, we don’t have a Union gatekeeper to safe guard the crew from any ancillary information. I sure hope the captain gave the SREAM in complete detail prior to departure.

Skip the CPO. If you really want the job show up at the training center on the 14th and they will probably slot you in instead of one of the no shows.

Getting through the training is the interview now. IF you make it through, welcome aboard the worst ride of your life. If not, good luck in the unemployment line, your new PRIA entry will surely impress your future employers. And if you're looking for that brass ring bypass to the left seat, multiply the above difficulty factor X 10. Best of luck!

For those that are thinking this is too bad to be true, ask anyone from our last January class (those that are still here). Ask them why it took 6-8 months to get on line, why the FAA shut down Allegiant's training department, why the archaic, badly maintained Pan Am simulators were off line for soooo long, what the quality of training was. Then go ahead and ask the peeps from our current class why there were 4 no-shows and at least 4 that have already quit.
