I see what you're driving at with this, but no one should fly tired and hungry and that's not what they are seeking anyway.

There's a website called happyneuron that is like lumosity. Sign up for a free account. Play the game called "pay attention" and select "numbers in reverse order". If you can do that, you can pass that portion of cog.

I was honored to get a job offer today from American! I'm looking forward to joining the team ASAP.

I know many like stats and timeline, so here it is:

Military background, 3150 TT, 2825 Multi Turbine PIC, Mil EP/IP on resume, all single seat fighter time except UPT & IFF. ~180 general aviation hours in 172's. Still flying for the Reserves.

Master's degree, 3.7 undergrad GPA, heavily involved in college with organizations, etc.

Timeline:
Oct 2013: Applied
1 Aug 14: Video Invite
5 Aug 14: Video Interview completed
13 Aug 14: More Info Request on Pilot Credentials
21 Aug 14: Invited to F2F with 2 Sep available date...couldn't make it due to being out of country
AA paused off the street interviews early October
~Mid Nov: Received classy you're in a holding pattern email from AA saying my F2F invite still stands once they start back up again.
30 Dec 14: Invited again to F2F
14 Jan 15: PST , then 15 Jan 15: Interview
27 Jan 15: Received letter from FAA saying AA had requested flight records
29 Jan 15: Received job offer via phone call from Chief Pilot late afternoon......2 weeks exactly after interview

Contrary to what I'd read before on here, I never received an electronic background investigation email/request. I updated my app about 1-2 times per month.

Hope this helps some and best of luck to all!

One day is ok. The earlier days in the 'job fair' are more crowded. Some folks will tell you to do the evening hospitality suites and nightlife, just don't get drunk and make an idiot out of yourself. Good luck.
