All of the Compass flows are done for the year so you don't have to worry about them being senior to you in class.

There were only two classes in October. 10/6 with 36 people and yesterday with 50. Next class is November 4 with 115 per month. Not sure how many classes and how many people per class from there on out.

Junior equipment in any class is going to be NYC 88B guaranteed. 737 is going very senior because it pays better and has desirable bases overall. (ATL, LAX, SLC)

I'm in 3 Nov class and Andy told me class size was 40. 10 Nov class is 75.

Answer #3: The CPZ flows get both their numbers and assignments with their original class, but company has been holding them back from starting training for 90 days. So, in our class, there were 50 of us in class plus 29 flows that were assigned to the class but still working at their previous carrier. They got their seniority numbers with us based on the last 4, put in their preferences with us, and got their assignments. So there were 79 assignments offered.

When they started 90 days later with a new class, there was the appearance that flows got preferential assignments because some had 73n and A320 when those jets weren't offered to their indoc class.

Again, moot point for the rest of the year.

Has anyone had a the question during your interview;
Your the captain and you show up for a 4 day trip and on day 1 your FO is not and will not wear his hat, what do you do?

Politely tell him he's out of uniform and not treat him to beers/dinner?
FWIW, I've never seen an FO at DAL do that, and only one or two captains. It's not an issue with the possible exception of the older NWA guys in Detroit who like to show the man.

C'mon, numerous guys keep their hats with their DB plan. South too...

Your first answer was good enough.

The follow up fails to acknowledge that it's just business. An element of this business that doesn't apply to new hires.

I was down in Mecca this week and one of the applicants said he got that question.

Did he say how he responded? Also, if the person you are dealing with refuses to wear his/her hat (most likely a senior person) what are they wanting to see that you do?
