Default United Domiciles

How junior or senior are all the United domicilies? I heard SEA was very senior possibly because it was a very small base. This type of information and perhaps the type of equipment at each base would be great.

A list of UAL domiciles is here: http://airlinepilotcentral.com/airli...cy/united.html

When they buy CAL I guess you could add those too.

SEA has few pilots and is the most Senior in the system with 737, 767, and 777 aircraft.

You mean when CAL buys UAL? Right? Symantecs I guess.

I love the irony of people misspelling words like 'semantics'!

Can anyone tell me how senior or junior the following United domiciles are?
SEA
SFO
LAX
DEN
ORD
JFK
DCA

Even if you only have information about one or more of them, that would be great.

Blathering doesn't mean buying. It is the quiet, smart CEOs that make the moves.

In order of most senior to most junior (in general) SEA, DEN, DCA(iad, dca, bwi),LAX (ont, lax, bur),ORD, JFK(ewr, lga, jfk), SFO (sfo, sjc, oak). In parentheses are the airports served by pilots based at that domicile though not all fleets serve all airports (e.g. JFK 747s don't fly out of LGA, but you may be assigned to DH out of any of the airports considered as domicile airports if you are a reserve). Rumor is that JFK may close. UA has consolidated a lot of widebody flying to DCA from JFK and a lot of narrowbody bids have posted for DCA and UA is not getting any more airplanes, so the jets will have to come from somewhere. This is not a new thing since the CAL talks. It has been going on since bankruptcy proceedings started. UA closed MIA and moved the flying to DCA and ORD, also closed HNL and moved that to the west coast during BR. Sold some routes to DAL a few months ago out of JFK as well. Hope this helps.

Resurrecting an old post, to get some new input from current UAL/CAL. Looking forward to post SLI, how would you rank the above bases plus CAL bases. Shooting from the hip of course. Thanks in advance.
