Strangely enough I can't say for sure. I waited in the lobby for so long before I went upstairs, most folks in my time slot had moved on. I was mostly with guys and gals that had slots 1-2 hours after mine. Apparently showing up 10 minutes before my schuduled report time was late.
It didn't come up once I got upstairs though, but I was getting concerned when I was still sitting in the lobby 40 minutes after I checked in.
Anyway, I'd guess there were 5-7 in my slot.

So, in the Phase II they note that it's still highly competitive. I wonder what percent of Phase II actually get offered a class. Any thoughts out there?

Mostly stuff that pops up in the background check. You won't get a "Congrats you passed Phase II" email until you're almost done with training.

I have to imagine that they check the major show stoppers like criminal, credit, FAA Pria etc that are readily accessible and then leave other non-showstoppers for later?

So they make you an offer before they even finish the background check? They must be really backed up if they're taking that risk that they invest a ton of money into someone to find out they had a DWI or something.

Your background check is completed before you are given a class date, but Phase II isn't officially over until some point later in training. I don't know for sure, but am guessing they keep you in Phase II until the successful completion of training just in case you don't make it through the ground/simulator training course.

Don't stress the "congratulations, you've passed Phase II" letter. The only important messages post-interview:
- Congratulations on entering Phase II
- Here's your class date
- Study this before your SPV
- PVC bidding guide
- Welcome to ALPA
I started training in mid-2011 and still haven't received my Phase II completion email.

Hey all.
probably a dumb question but I am kinda new to online airline applications.
On the Jetblue online application it asks for "other documents" to be attached at the bottom. Is this for the license copy/medical/certificates etc or is this done at a later date?
Regards
