I would disagree slightly. February 25th interview. Moved to phase II shortly after. Clean background. No accidents, incidents, enforcements, no failures. Three types, 9200TT, 1400TPIC, 6000+ PIC, 121 (FO and CA), 135, 91K, 142 instructor/evaluator. Turned down other offer expecting class at the end of May. Mid-May was informed I needed recency of 121 experience to move forward. Did so - 5 months at a regional at 72% pay cut. So I've invested a good 8 months in limbo. Finally received a class. Happy now but stressed getting here. Was a leap of faith each month as the saving account dwindled at regional wages. Another month or two and I was going to have to make other plans as my family is accustomed to living indoors. Well, Looks like Thanksgiving in Orlando this year!

That's me. The magic number was 200 hours. I mean 200 grueling, non-commutable, reserve, hours.

Glad you made it, so far I have seen nothing that you will be disappointed with. Congrats and look forward to seeing you on the line. i was Feb 25th interview also, call me crazy, but I still think too many people discount JB. I'm having a blast. Love the plane and the people. Keep in mind, some people are just never happy unless they are with one of the "majors" cough.....

Wow that just scared the crap outta me. I have similar times to you, and am currently in Phase 2. Last flew 121 8 years ago. Got 1500+ hours of 121 time. Why do you think they wanted recency of experience in part 121? I know a few guys who have gotten hired with 0 121 time. Just trying to put my finger on the reason they told you to get more recent 121 time...Did you have internal recs? What was your flight time in the previous year? Any other perceived negatives that you can think of?
props to you for going out and getting it!
